kf94 Mascarilla

The KF94 mascarilla is a protective mask certified by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). The "KF" stands for Korea Filter (Korea filtration standard), and the "94" means that it has a filtration efficiency of more than 94% for particles with a diameter of 0.4 microns.

High-efficiency Filtration
The KF94 mascarilla adopts a four-layer filtration structure, which can effectively filter more than 94% of 0.4-micron particles in the air. Among them, the electrostatic melt-blown cloth layer has a fiber diameter of 10-100 microns and an electrostatic charge density of up to 10^-7 C/m^2, which can adsorb fine particles. Therefore, the filtration efficiency of the KF94 mascarilla for 0.3-micron particles can reach 96.8%, which is much higher than the 80-85% of ordinary medical masks.

The 3D structure of the KF94 mascarilla forms a 1.5-2 cm deep arched space in front of the mouth and nose when the mask is unfolded, effectively preventing the mask from directly sticking to the mouth and nose. Experimental data show that the inhalation resistance of the KF94 mascarilla under 30 L/min airflow is about 70 Pa, and the exhalation resistance is about 60 Pa, which are 25% and 20% lower than those of flat masks, respectively.

The coverage area of ​​the KF94 mascarilla when unfolded is about 250 square centimeters, which can completely cover the area from the bridge of the nose to the chin. Its adjustable nose clip can provide a 35-40 degree bending angle to ensure that the mask fits tightly against the bridge of the nose. Therefore, the facial air leakage rate of the KF94 mascarilla is about 5%, which is much less than the 20-30% of ordinary medical masks. This makes the protective effect of the KF94 mascarilla increased by about 25%.
